Also the player has had an opportunity to arrange army of marksmen during a siege on the main tower in the lock. The obstacle behind which any group takes cover reduces a loss which shooting groups of the opponent can put. And again in game defensive ditches come back. An innovation also is the mastering system new magics. Spells in Heroes of Might and Magic 6 will be divided into 7 various schools, but also in the new version of game now there is no necessity to attend magic school, for acquisition of new knowledge. The saved up points of experience at level increase exchange on spells at schools of spells. The modular artifacts which were present at the previous versions, have remained and in this version. For this purpose, that on a card it was easier to search for the hidden subjects, developers have established the fixed inclination of the chamber. Possibility to put bookmarks on the screen of fight or on the general screen do management more simple and convenient, after all, for example, for search of the most favourite spell now it is not necessary to look through the book with spells.
